THE OSI UPDATE
Quarterly Newsletter
Welcome to this quarter’s edition of The OSI Update. We’re proud to share highlights of the incredible work our team is doing every day — from celebrating long-time employees, to showcasing projects that remind us why our clients trust and choose OSI.
COMMUNICATION seperates us from the competition - We answer the phone with live people, we communicate quickly and we offer solutions that protect our customer's bottom line.
FLEXIBILITY ensures the customer feels they are the priority. Leadership at OSI makes decisions with a customer first mindset. Does this make all of your jobs (Especially Bradley and Dave) harder - YES, but it's what makes OSI a great partner and why 95% of our business comes from referrals. Thank you for your commitment to this culture!
INTEGRITY is the glue that holds our foundation together, guiding every decision and interaction. Brad built this company in faith and a selfless mentality that inspires a customer-first culture of communication, flexibility, and trust in everything we do.
At OSI, our foundation is our people—their workmanship, dedication, and drive are what make us who we are. From the field to the office, we we want to give every team member the opportunity to grow, learn, and advance. As we continue to expand our presence in Nashville and Atlanta, our focus remains on delivering the highest quality service to our customers. With this team, we’re building more than spaces—we’re building a reputation for reliability, workmanship, and growth.
Thank you for being part of the OSI story.
- Brad Conlon, Owner
Korey Swafford
This month marks 10 years since Korey joined OSI, and what a journey it’s been.
Korey’s first attempt to join our team didn’t quite stick — he came in wearing his Two Men and a Truck uniform and WEIRD, ne never heard back (heavy sarcasm). On his second attempt, Korey came dressed to impress, and was hired on the spot. He hasn’t looked back since.
Starting as a field installer, Korey quickly transitioned into the warehouse, where his hustle, speed, and ingenuity put him on the fast track to became our Warehouse supervisor.
OSI OPS DIRECTOR Bradley when asked about Korey- "Like every one of us, Korey wasn’t perfect — but what set him apart was how he responded to mistakes: he fixed them, learned, and came back stronger. That’s the OSI way."
When asked about his time here, Korey said:
“This is a great place to work, and you need to be the kind of employee that isn’t afraid to stand out. Work hard and don’t be influenced to take the easy route of doing the least you can. Be a hard worker and you will stand out.”
David Tate
David joined OSI as a Warehouse Supervisor, but when the need for Asset Management presented itself, he stepped up without hesitation.
With Amazon’s asset activity growing rapidly, David’s background in warehousing and inventory management proved invaluable. He transitioned into the Asset Manager role seamlessly, helping stabilize a complex and fast-moving part of our business.
Most notably, David has quieted the storm with our client Armstrong and their customer Splice — earning the trust of both. Nashville GM David Filos summed it up best: “We’re very happy David has joined the team!”
When asked about his time here, David said:
"Have confidence in the knowledge and skills you bring to the table but at the same time do not hesitate to reach out and ask questions. We have a great team here at OSI and I have had tremendous support from our people in NASH and ATL. The leaders are always quick, and most importantly – WILLING, to help in any way they can to help you succeed and make OSI the great company it is to work for."
OSI BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES
2025 State of the business:
THANK YOU: The out of town projects in 2025 have put our field teams away from home, family and friends and on behalf of everyone at OSI, THANK YOU for your work ethic and commitment. It shows and is appreciated!
YoY COMPARISON: Quotes are up 4% from this time last year, but delivering 30% more completed work — meaning the size of our projects is increasing. Bigger jobs, stronger schedules, and more opportunities for everyone. Your project managers are doing everything they can to keep the schedule full.
We’ve installed for 13 new customers, and that growth depends on one core value — QUALITY. Every project we complete represents OSI’s reputation. The professionalism of our teams and the finish of our installations determine whether new customers become long-term partners.
A beautifully installed, finished space is the most important final impression, and our field teams own that moment. Keep up the great work, take pride in your craftsmanship, and know that every detail you deliver builds OSI’s future.
TECHNOLOGY: Clarissa has been hard at work getting the new tablets in the hands of our Supervisors to make your work more efficient. We will slowly migrate some of our manual processes to the tablets as we improve processes from the office to the field. Brad's willingness to invest in success is dependent on our execution of the plan. GO TIME!
HIRING: OSI is working on a new intiative to advertise our open positions and be aggressive in finding the right people with the skills and discipline it takes to suit up for OSI.
REFERRAL BONUS: Existing OSI employees receive $500 for referring a new employee once the new hire hits 90 days of employment.
TEAMWORK PAYS: Quarterly BONUS meeting coming up to reward the teams with the highest scores. You dont know who is on your team therefore HELP EVERYONE raise their game up and it helps you win!
BINGO UPDATE: SAFETY EQUALS DOLLARS Team ATL is on a safety role and has $400 ready to be won by the first person to scream BINGO. Team Nash hit BINGO recently and are already back to $225.
CUSTOMER SERVICE SATISFACTION SURVEY
Each month OSI will ask our customers how their job went from quote through installation. Their input will help OSI make adjustments to our process or give insights to improvements our field teams can make to keep our customers coming back to OSI over and over again.
*Reminder we will never address surveys with our customers. These are for learning and improving, not debating or explaining our side.
13 SURVEYS and a 9.15 RATING = HECK YEA!
